Realty Executives International Gives Top Honors to Kansas Real Estate Brokers

The couple was recognized with two esteemed awards: Regional Developer of the Year and Homes from the Heart Hero Award.

The Regional Developer of the Year distinction is chosen by the Realty Executives International management team and honors one developer each year within the Realty Executives system who embraces excellence and practices the company values and philosophy.

The Summers were recognized for the market dominance they have achieved in their region and bringing extraordinary talent, leadership and ability to the Realty Executives franchise. Because of their distinguished leadership, track record and performance, Realty Executives recently awarded them the franchise for the Colorado Region Realty Executives International Colorado Region to their already thriving regional organization.

The couple was also recognized for receiving the international company's Homes from the Heart Hero Award. Realty Executives recently dedicated its second home for Habitat for Humanity Kansas City to a local needy family, and announced the company will fund and help build a third home this year. Steve and Nancy Summers have been long-time supporters of Habitat for Humanity and have observed how the construction process has changed lives. The couple oversees many fundraising efforts to help with the construction costs, including an annual golf tournament. As recognition for their work, Realty Executives International presented them with the Homes from the Heart Hero Award, only given to one broker in the organization each year.
